Rice Filled Heating Pads!

These wonderful pads are so easy to use. Simply heat the pad in your microwave for 30 to 45 seconds (more or less depending on your microwave) and the rice in the pads will hold the heat for quite some time. These work well for sore and achy muscles or cramps or even labor pains as the heat is said to help relax you during contractions. My children love them to help warm up their beds at night too. They heat them up and stick them in between the sheets for about 15 minutes and the bed is a little easier to get into on a cool fall or winter night!

These rice pads can also be frozen and used as ice packs as well.

My daughter Sierra and her friend Makayla have started making these pads and she has several fabric choices to choose from. More fabric choices will come available periodically.

These would make great gifts too!

Each pad has an outer fabric cover that can be removed and washed. The inner pad is filled with the rice and cannot be washed. The pads also have the addition of a small amount of lavender flower buds to give a mild relaxing aroma. The rice pads measure 4 inches x 12 inches.
